Поможем создать Ado.Net vNext

Странные  вещи происходят в команде ADO.Net Entity Framework.

Сначала объявили о переносе релиза на первую половину 2008-го года, хотя все ожидали, что ADO.Net vNext выйдет вместе с Orcas зимой-осенью. Но тут можно было подумать, что выпуск следующей версии будет приурочен к выпуску SQL Server code name “Katmai”.

Но вот этот пост http://blogs.msdn.com/adonet/archive/2007/05/29/are-you-attending-teched.aspx заставляет задуматься. Вот что они пишут: «The ADO.NET will be conducting a focus group on LINQ/EDM at TechEd 2007 to help define the direction of LINQ to Entities». Т.е. у них до сих пор не определено направление развития LINQ to Entities, и они предлагают людям им помочь…

Сертификация ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition

17 мая Microsoft получен сертификат ФСТЭК на ISA Server 2006 Standard edition. Кроме сертификации по новым требованиям ФСТЭК (получен уровень ОУД1 — усиленный), проведена также сертификация и по старым требованиям Гостехкомиссии — сертификат получен не только на уровень 4, но и на уровень 3.

ISA Server пока там не появился, но думаю это дело ближайших дней.

SilverLight в 2005-ом году???

Обнаружил в SilverLight 1.1 Alpha

BigInteger в Orcas Beta1

Вчера (19.05.2007) делал доклад по Orcas

Рассказывал о нововведениях в Orcas, в том числе решил рассказать про новый тип BigInteger.

Стал показывать, а его и нету…

Сейчас проверил, на самом деле он есть, только почему то он internal.

[Serializable, StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential), ComVisible(false), Immutable]

internal struct BigInteger : IFormattable, IEquatable, IComparable, IComparable

2.4.1. BigInteger removed from Orcas

After we released the BigInteger type in earlier CTPs, we received some constructive feedback from customers and partners who are interested in extended numerical types. We have learned that we must make some improvements so that this type better serves their needs. We decided to remove BigInteger from Orcas so that we can address these issues and concerns. Please let us know how this affects you and what would you expect in a BigInteger class. You can e-mail us at bclpub@microsoft.com.
